Recently, our college signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement with the Department of Media and Communication at City University of Hong Kong, aiming to deepen collaboration and exchanges in areas such as student exchange, teaching cooperation, scholar visits, and academic research.
Associate Dean Zhao Yupei was invited to attend the 2024 Mainland China Higher Education Exhibition in Hong Kong, where she met with Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Mr. Tang Haiyang, and other staff at City University of Hong Kong. During her visit, she had discussions with Professor Huang Yihui, the Head of the Department of Media and Communication, and reached a cooperation intention, ultimately signing the strategic cooperation agreement. In the future, the two sides will focus on student exchanges and communication, as well as advancing programs such as the joint training of undergraduate and graduate students.
The Department of Media and Communication at City University of Hong Kong offers two undergraduate programs: Media and Communication, and Digital Television and Broadcasting, along with two master's programs: Communication and New Media, and Integrated Marketing Communication, as well as a doctoral program in Media and Communication. The department has established partnerships with over 100 media and communication companies and engaged in academic collaborations with more than 20 universities worldwide. The department has ranked 27th globally in its field for three consecutive years in 2017, 2018, and 2019.
